Esther has been involved with Jackson Child Care since 1991 and graduated from Trinity Christian School (TCS) in 2009. She was a National Achievement Scholar and a National Merit Scholar at TCS. Esther gave commencement speeches at TCS and George Mason University (GMU), where she earned a B.S. in Mathematics with a concentration in Actuarial Science and a minor in Classical Piano. She was also a University Scholar at GMU and a finalist for the Marshall Scholarship. Esther credits much of her success to the experiences and empowerment she gained at JCC. She currently works as an Actuary at the Office of Personnel Management.
Brenda Gonzalez graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, specializing in Clinical Psychology and minoring in Sociology. She is pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at GMU. Brenda is bilingual and fluent in Spanish and English, allowing her to communicate with diverse children and families effectively. She is passionate about working with kids and believes that while we teach them, they also teach us valuable lessons. Additionally, Brenda serves as a Spanish Emotional Support Hotline counselor, prioritizing mental health and overall well-being. She considers it an honor to be part of Ms. Jackson’s team and is dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment for all our preschoolers.
