Since 1991, she has been a leading figure dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education and care. Ms. Jackson’s commitment to excellence is not just a phrase but a practice she upholds through continuous professional development and the implementation of rigorous training programs. Monica Jackson is an ardent advocate for women and girls. She uses her extensive experience in early childhood education to empower communities in Fairfax County. With a background as a trainer and mentor, Monica has played a pivotal role in supporting the development of educators and caregivers, ensuring quality care for young children.

As an active Advisory Board member of the Fairfax Child Care Council and the Virginia Small Business Council, Monica has demonstrated her commitment to advocating for policies that promote the well-being of children and support small businesses in the community. Most recently, she contributed her expertise to the FarmWise Advisory Committee, working to enhance families’ access to nutritious food in Fairfax County.

Monica’s passion for social justice and dedication to improving the lives of women, children, and families make her a valuable addition to the panel discussion held on March 22nd. Her insights and advocacy efforts continue to drive positive change and inspire others to join in building a more equitable and inclusive society for all.
