Celebrating the Holidays and Making Memories Together
One of the annual Jackson Child Care traditions is cookie decorating and ginger bread making! Over the years we have found teaching children about the holiday season while experiencing the joy of the holiday season makes for wonderful memories! This week we made sugar cookies and put together graham cracker ginger bread houses. We invited our children to decorate their cookies and gingerbread houses. This activity provided a lot of opportunities for conversation, vocabulary-building, fine motor development and practice of social etiquette. We know that helping our children learn and grow in the kitchen is a life skill! We had a fun time doing this activity together!
